Who is this guy?

I'm glad you asked! My name is Shawn Baugh 2. Yes, the 2 is real. I am the second and not "junior". I've been making music for a very long time, but have finally found the sound I'm proud to share with the world. I call it Synthfunk...just think DNCE, Jon Bellion, and Gigamesh to season the meal. What is CA to TX?

This project chronicles my move from California to Texas... surprising, right? The journey isn't as obvious, though. I went from doing dishes on the late shift to driving for Lyft from sunup to sundown, and finally to working in tech for some stability. During this time, I lost love and then found the music I love to make, which you hear on this record. There would be no Beyond the Fall, or anything new that you hear, without CA to TX.
