This One Is For Your Journey

It's for you because you don't think you can, but you keep going. It's for those of us chasing a dream while grinding daily just to make life happen. And for the ones trying to hold onto friends and love, but the dream comes first right now. I want you to have this CD for free. Just cover shipping.

What is CA to TX?

This project chronicles my move from California to Texas... surprising, right? The journey isn't as obvious, though. I went from doing dishes on the late shift to driving for Lyft from sunup to sundown, and finally to working in tech for some stability. During this time, I lost love and then found the music I love to make, which you hear on this record. There would be no Beyond the Fall, or anything new that you hear, without CA to TX.

Who is this guy?

I'm glad you asked! My name is Shawn Baugh 2. Yes, the 2 is real. I am the second and not "junior". I've been making music for a very long time, but have finally found the sound I'm proud to share with the world. I call it Synthfunk...just think DNCE, Jon Bellion, and Gigamesh to season the meal. And because you're here, I'm giving you the appetizer of what Synthfunk has to offer through a signed copy of Beyond the Fall. There's a ton of music coming, and I don't want you to miss it.
